Hager's Farm Market is a family owned and operated farm stand and restaurant on Route 2 in Shelburne Falls, run by the same family for seven generations. We did not set out to be a destination. We set out to farm well and feed our neighbors, and the rest followed naturally. Every jar of maple, every loaf of bread, and every plate off the grill carries that same simple purpose forward.
Our maple comes from 13,000 taps we tend ourselves, our beef comes from Hereford cattle raised on green pasture with no growth hormones, and our bread and pastries come out of our own kitchen every morning. We believe good food starts with knowing exactly where it came from, which is why so much of what we sell, we grew, raised, or baked ourselves. Nothing here is dressed up to look like more than it is, it just tastes that way naturally.
